Description
Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

The Tactical Medicine (TacMed) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course at Johnston Community College is an intensive 4-day, 32-hour training designed for first responders who may provide emergency medical care in high-risk or tactical environments. This course includes scenarios with hands-on tactical medical exercises and follows the instructional guidelines set by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC). Participants will gain critical skills in the use of basic trauma kits, managing severe hemorrhages, treating chest trauma, and responding to other life-threatening injuries often encountered in the field. TECC Certification is included with the class.
Equipment list will be emailed upon registration. Class is open to all active Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire Personnel.
