This class will focus on popular social media platforms and will discuss how to create and maintain a confidential account. We will analyze the use of social media in criminal investigations and in developing intelligence. The class will provide an overview of the necessary court orders and search warrants needed to retrieve pertinent social media information. Students will be required to bring a laptop to class.
