This course sheds light on the hidden realities of sex trafficking in eastern North Carolina and how it often overlaps with sexual assault. Participants will gain practical skills to identify, screen, and refer victims within their own practice, while reviewing real-world studies that demonstrate how service providers helped women find freedom. The class also emphasizes integrating trauma-informed practices into organizational responses, ensuring survivors are met with compassion and effective support.
