Fundamentals of Investigative Process
Description
Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

This course introduces students to the core steps of a criminal investigation, including responding to incidents, collecting and documenting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing leads. Students will learn a clear, organized approach to handling cases while building the essential skills needed for effective and professional investigative work.
