Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

This course equips investigators with advanced, proven techniques for handling residential and property crime cases from initial response to case closure. Students will learn how to assess crime scenes, identify points of entry and exit, and collect and interpret evidence effectively. The course blends focused instruction with practical, scenario-based exercises, giving participants hands-on experience applying investigative methods that lead to successful resolutions.

Students should bring any crime scene processing tools that are issued to them.
