Law enforcement officers will encounter situations in which they will have to defend themselves against personal weapons, typically in close quarters. This course teaches officer techniques for controlling combative subjects where they cannot use standard weapons like batons or Tasers. The course focuses on practical, joint manipulation, empty-hand techniques, leverage, positioning, blocks, takedowns, and ground techniques. The Close Quarters Control course was developed to enhance your options to control subjects within various types of situations.
