Instructor: North Carolina Gang Investigators Association (NCGIA) Instructors

This 1-day course provides basic, entry-level training for those who are assigned to work with street gangs. Instruction on how to recognize and identify gang members and gang insignia; broad over-view of national gangs with an emphasis on gangs known to operate in North Carolina. This class will instruct on gang colors, symbols, graffiti, and crimes.

This basic class is particularly relevant for patrol officers and school resource officers (SROs).
