NIST-Aligned Hands-On UAS Flight Proficiency Drone Training
Description
Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

This hands-on course provides practical flight training aligned with NIST UAS flight proficiency standards. Students complete structured flight scenarios emphasizing aircraft control, crew coordination, and operational safety. This course is suitable for initial or recurring third-party proficiency certification training. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to pursue LEDA certification, which exceeds nationally accepted NIST proficiency standards. Drones are provided by the instructor as needed.
