Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

The first five years of a law enforcement career are often the most challenging. Officers must adapt to the realities of policing while balancing professional expectations, personal stress, shift work, and exposure to critical incidents.
This in-service course examines the professional and personal challenges faced by early-career officers and provides practical strategies to help them develop resilience, maintain ethical decision-making, manage stress, and build long-term career success. Through discussion, case examples, and practical tools, officers will learn how to navigate the pressures of the profession while protecting their mental health, personal relationships, and professional reputation.
