Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

Course Details & Equipment List

This 3-day, 30-hour course is designed for law enforcement officers with minimal experience, looking to build a solid foundation in the skills needed to be an effective law enforcement designated marksman. This course is also for officers who are already assigned designated marksman responsibilities with their agency and wish to expand on their knowledge base. The focus of this course is to prepare the officer to effectively fulfill his duty as a law enforcement designated marksman.
