Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

The Reid Technique is a widely known and used method of interviewing and interrogation, primarily employed by law enforcement agencies. The Reid Technique is designed to detect deception and encourage suspects to confess to crimes. It involves a structured approach to interviews and interrogations and consists of a series of steps meant to establish rapport, gather information, and, if necessary, lead a suspect toward a confession.
