Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

This course is only for those officers who have successfully completed a minimum 40 hr. "basic" negotiation course within the previous 10-year period and are currently assigned to a negotiation unit. The course provides a short classroom review, followed by intense classroom negotiation exercises, culminating with a day-long practical scenario exercise.
