Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

Location: Public Safety Building, JCC Main Campus

Instructor: State Certified Instructors

This course is designed to provide law enforcement officers with essential knowledge and skills for instructing fellow officers. It covers foundational teaching methods, instructional techniques, and subject matter expertise necessary to effectively educate others within the law enforcement community.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to apply for certification as a law enforcement instructor through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Division.
