The one-day Community Oriented Policing class is an interactive class that teaches the student about the history of COP, benefits of COP, and how to create and implement a COP class. Additionally, the class reviews the problem oriented policing approach with realistic examples that incorporate the SARA Model and the Crime Triangle Model. As the view of policing becomes more service oriented, the use of COP is a priceless tool that illustrates the partnership between law enforcement and the community.
