Police Cyclist Course
Description
Must be employed or appointed as a law enforcement officer by a State or local law enforcement agency or be a federal law enforcement officer. Fees may apply for federal and out of state law enforcement.

This class will provide training to police officers assigned to the bicycle patrol unit. Students will learn specialized skills required to safely and efficiently respond to incidents as a bicycle patrol officer. This training will cover bike maintenance, nighttime operations, and group rides. Mock scenarios will teach the bike officer how to interact with the public while patrolling on the bike.
This course will also cover the basic skill, riding and safety tactics needed to utilize an eBike as a tool for patrol tactics. The goal of this course is to instill essential eBike skills that will be used to safely and effectively perform their duties.
