Truck Driver Training Orientation

CLASS A Day Class (8 weeks – Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm)

Course Dates:

Class 627 – June 29, 2026 – August 20, 2026 (Orientation date: June 11th)

Class 628 – August 31, 2026 – October 22, 2026 (Orientation date: July 30th)

Class 629 – October 26, 2026 – December 18, 2026 (Orientation date: September 24th)

CLASS A Weekend Class (16 weeks – Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, Sunday 7am-6pm)

Class 632B – August 7, 2026 – November 22, 2026 (Orientation date: July 16)

Please bring your Class A Commercial Learner Permit, NC Driver License, and DOT Medical Card to Orientation.

At Orientation, you can expect to:

• Submit required documents
• Take the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) test. You must pass to be eligible to enroll. If you do not achieve the required passing score, you will need to take the required remediation online class.
• We will send you for a drug test at DSPS. The cost is $40 cash (the lab does not accept checks).

After passing the TABE and Drug Test, you will receive a link to register and pay. Payment is due no later than one week before class start date.
