Class A (Weekend Class) Truck Driver Training Orientation

Please bring the following documents required for registration to Orientation: Current NC Driver License, Class A Commercial Learner Permit, and DOT Medical Card.

At Orientation, you can expect to:

• Take the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) test. You must pass to be eligible to enroll. If you do not achieve the required passing score, you will need to take the required remediation online class.
• We will send you for a drug test at DSPS. The cost is $40 cash (the lab does not accept checks).

After passing the TABE and Drug Test, you will receive a link to register and pay. Payment is due no later than one week before class start date.
