JCC is proud to offer fully online EMS Continuing Education (CE) courses designed to meet the ongoing training and credentialing needs of EMS professionals across North Carolina. New CE courses are posted each month and are available in convenient 3-hour learning blocks, allowing providers to select topics that fit their schedule and professional development goals. All courses are delivered completely online and can be completed at your own pace within the month of registration. Upon successful completion, participants will receive CE credit that meets North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) standards, which will be visible on their CE Transcript.

How to register for a section:

1. Complete the online form below for each module that you wish to register for.
2. After completing the form, you will be emailed the official Continuing Education registration form with instructions to complete.
3. The Continuing Education registration form will need to be sent to Brittany Baker at bjbaker@johnstoncc.edu once completed.
4. Once this has been received and processed, you will be contacted regarding your confirmation in the course.

If registering before the start date, you will be able to log in to JCC Jaguar Portal Blackboard and access the course module on the first day of the course. If registering throughout the month, please wait for the confirmation email that your registration form has been processed to gain access to the course.

Students who are affiliated with EMS or FD agencies in NC are eligible for a fee waiver by listing their department and position on the Continuing Education registration form that will be emailed to you after reserving your spot. Students who are not affiliated with a department will pay the $70 course registration fee after their registration has been processed.
